10. Miz Retains His Title, Despite Being An Afterthought (WrestleMania 27)
Such is the lot of modern WWE, willing to render a main event match secondary to Hollywood. In truth, The Miz's WWE Championship defense against John Cena wasn't a good match in the least, and it exposed Miz's limitations as a main eventer in long matches. Still, the champion played second fiddle to Cena's grudge with The Rock, and it made the show we were watching then and there feel insignificant. Miz seemed like such a lame duck for Cena that it was surprising when The Rock dropped Cena with Rock Bottom, allowing Miz to retain the gold. Then Rock dropped Miz with a Rock Bottom, standing alone to end the show. Most people probably have forgotten that Miz actually won this match. Easy to see why.
