A quality main event in the face of obvious obstacles, The Undisputed Era continued their cloak-and-dagger protection of a wafer thin NXT doubles division with yet another title defences that made the Challengers feel like world-beaters even if they couldn't beat them.
Experts in mid-match dominance and wicked false finishes, Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly are as big a gift to the black-and-gold tag league as The Revival were in their prime. Hopping over impactful strikes by the babyfaces as if they were timing to win assault course time trials, the vindictive villains used their ruthless resilience and an ill-gotten numbers advantage to wrap up this series with the Street Profits and secure The Undisputed Era's status at the top of the Wednesday tree.
Presumably gone to Raw now but never to be forgotten, Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins rose so quickly through the ranks in 2019 that their NXT legacy will remain preserve as the short sharp shock the division desperately needed.
