Lloyd AnoaI (above, left) is one of the many members of that famous Samoan family to become a professional wrestler. He trained under his uncle Sika, one half of the original Wild Samoans. However, he didnt gain anywhere near as much success as his uncles. If theres one indicator that someone wasnt bound to stay in the company long, it was changing their ring names. Though he was in WWE for 1993, and then 1995-1996, he wrestled under three different stage names: Fred Williams, Lloyd Lanui, and The Tahitian Savage, or Tahitian Warrior. By the end of 1993, he was already wrestling in the World Wrestling Council in Puerto Rice. It was in WWC where he actually found success, not in WWF. In the Puerto Rico promotion, he was a 9-time Tag Team Champion, with 5 different partners. It seems that he just wasnt destined to find as much success as his uncles or other Samoan wrestlers.
