AJ Styles is one of the very few stars in wrestling to never work for WWE (provided you don't count a few Jakked matches in 2001 and 2002), but he still cut his teeth in a national promotion before he got to TNA. Styles and Air Paris, who had a feud in developmental territory NWA: Wildside, were brought up to WCW TV as Air Raid, a high-flying tag team that wore Devo-style outfits. Though WCW would go out of business shortly after their debut, they had some exciting contests on Nitro and Thunder.
