2 Title Matches Confirmed For WWE Money In The Bank 2021
Charlotte Flair faces Rhea Ripley at Money In The Bank 2021, and more...
WWE's next pay-per-view, Money in the Bank 2021, goes down on Sunday, 18 July. Taking place at the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, it is WWE's first non-ThunderDome pay-per-view since last summer, and represents the end of the company's Empty Arena Era as the promotion transitions back to fully-ticketed shows.
Last night's episode of Raw brought a bunch of card additions - including two title matches.
As covered earlier, Bobby Lashley will defend his WWE Championship against Kofi Kingston after defeating Kofi's partner, Xavier Woods, in an impromptu Hell In A Cell match on Raw.
On the women's side, we're getting a HIAC rematch as Rhea Ripley defends her Raw Women's Title against Charlotte Flair. Their previous match ended in a disqualification when Ripley attacked Flair with part of the announce table. Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville booked the rematch on Raw, effectively doing so as punishment for Rhea twisting her champion's advantage.
Here's how the Money in the Bank 2021 card looks at the moment:-
WWE Title: Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Kofi Kingston
Raw Women's Title: Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Charlotte Flair
Men's Money In The Bank Ladder Match: Ricochet vs. John Morrison vs. Riddle vs. five more TBA
Women's Money In The Bank Ladder Match: Asuka vs. Naomi vs. Alexa Bliss vs. Nikki Cross vs. four more TBA
