20 Dumbest Wrestler Names EVER (...That We Absolutely LOVE)

19. Egotistico Fantastico

NWA fans know big Ego as Cyon, but Robert Anthony has also wrestled in WWE and AEW. Eagle eyes might recall him as 'El Hombre Sin Hombre' from a weird and wonderful 'Global Battle Royal' that Kurt Angle won as The Conquistador on the 8 October 2018 episode of Raw. Yep, latter day Vince McMahon was a trip.

On the All Elite side, Anthony has matched up against everyone from Jon Moxley and Darby Allin to Ricky Starks and Stu Grayson. Obviously, it's the latter bout that he has immortalised on his mantel with a framed photograph. Obviously. It isn't every day that you get to trade spots with the best of The Dark Order, y'know.

This deceptive veteran (Robert has been working shows since 2001!) has an alter ego, and it's something else. On the independent circuit, he's known as Egotistico Fantastico, which is plainly one of the best names to ever come out of this industry and that's that. Why didn't WWE let him go by that name during the aforementioned throwaway Battle Royal, by the way?!

Imagine the pop that ring name would've received from the masses in Illinois?! They'd have been all over it, and a sensational Royal Rumble berth could've been secured on the strength of one reaction. Hey, James Ellsworth bagged an entire run out of one enhancement match vs. Braun Strowman, so anything's possible.

Egotistico Fantastico doesn't quite roll off the tongue, but it even looks special written down. It's right up there with Sami Zayn's El Generico as one of the all-timer masked man send ups.
