6. WWE Crush Hour

The ultra-popular Twisted Metal video game series depicted a bunch of larger-than-life characters piloting a variety of strange vehicles, all for the express purpose of destroying one another. At some point, someone in WWE's video game division decided that this concept would translate well to the superstars of pro wrestling, and nobody stopped him from acting on his idea. The result - Crush Hour - hit stores in 2003, during a decided wane in WWE's popularity. According to the "plot," Vince McMahon took over every television station in existence, and his newest idea is an all-wrestler demolition derby. Though the game was panned, with critics citing lousy graphics and annoying audio commentary, die-hard fans knew that this was their only chance to pilot the Hardy Boys' wood-paneled station wagon or RVD's ATV. Sadly, that wasn't enough to make it a franchise of its own.
