In the annals of WWE's merchandising department, perhaps no idea was as brilliantly original or as insanely troubling as WWE's talking soap. Sold in a championship belt container and sporting a picture of either of the two biggest stars of the Attitude Era, the soap was designed to... well, what is soap ever designed to do? Once the soap hit water, though, the real fun started. The Rock would tell fans "Go wash up, jabroni, because frankly, you stink!" Stone Cold shouted "Wash up, and that's the bottom line," in between repeatedly telling product users "Wash your ass!" A helpful hint, to be sure, but most consumers don't appreciate being harassed by merchandise. No further soap products were released after these failed to clean up.
