20 Times The Undertaker Went Hardcore

9. The Legend Killer Is Trapped In Hell

Versus: Randy Orton Stipulation: Hell in a Cell Date: 2005 For awhile, feuding with the Undertaker was a rite of passage for the young guys on the roster. He was the most respected man in the locker room, and a rookie became €˜one of the guys€™ if he could hold his own against the Phenom and live to tell the tale. That was definitely true for €˜Legend Killer€™ Randy Orton. This bloody match, along with his thumbtack ridden bloodbath against Foley in 2004, solidified Orton€™s status as a tough, resilient son of a gun. It€™s a great example of how a loss can advance a wrestler€™s career instead of burying him.
