It wasn't bad enough that CM Punk had been boxed out of the main event of Wrestlemania after being champion for 434 days and creating compelling television with The Rock. What was likely worse for Punk was seeing that Rocky's first post Cena/Punk #1 contendership match salvo in his Wrestlemania main-event feud with John Cena involved Rock stating that Cena's multi-colored and child friendly merchandise made him look like a Fruity Pebble. Of course, the fact that WWE's marketing machine couldn't bear seeing their cash cow embarrassed, they likely reached out to the cereal manufacturer with a branding idea to turn Rock's dis into a big money opportunity. Given that Punk brought ideas to WWE that they never capitalized on, the idea that Cena himself likely didn't make that Fruity Pebbles call probably pissed him off to a great degree.
