The crowd were "treated" to a performance from band Train, an awkward and rough-sounding cover of Slade's classic Christmas tune Merry Xmas Everybody, all while the production team kept cutting to awkward clips of fans in the crowd dancing (or rather, attempting to dance), along with a crowd pop so gigantic it surely had to have been piped in after the fact. It wasted five minutes of air time, though on the plus side, freed up five minutes of your day if you skipped past it (unless you watched it live, then may God have mercy on your soul). WWE musical performances are frequently embarrassing, and this one's definitely up there, if certainly not as bad as, say, the terrible America the Beautiful rendition from WrestleMania 14.
