4. The Name
This is nitpicking, but 'Battle Of The Belts' implies that 'Champion vs. Champion' matches are on the menu. They weren't though, not on AEW's latest special. That's why 'Battle For The Belts' would've been a better name for Saturday's night hour-long championship love-in.
Is that too picky? This writer feels like that might be a little too picky, but he's also torn - names are important. They either set the tone for what should be expected, like All Out (AEW will literally go all out to entertain you) or just signify a changing of the wrestling guard (Revolution).
This delivered neither.
The event title is something Khan and chums should've obsessed over beforehand. They didn't need to frame this the way they did; BOTB could've been called something else just as easily without losing any interest.
