4. Chelsea Green Logic Is Messy

Right, let's try to figure this out.

Last week, we were told that Chelsea Green couldn’t save Tiffany Stratton because she isn’t medically cleared and didn't want to go against orders. Being honest, that shouldn’t have stopped a valiant babyface from helping her friend out. Then, this week, she still isn’t medically cleared but…rushed out with a kendo stick to fight off and stop Nia Jax and Lash Legend from beating up Tiffany. What changed?

WWE logic is mind-boggling sometimes. Pick a lane and stick to it, guys. Consistency matters when you’re telling stories, man. There was next to no explanation for why Green was magically able to come to Stratton's aid here but not last time. Joe Tessitore remarked that the Women's Champ still isn't cleared by docs, so was there actually any difference at all? Or, did the writing team simply forget about their own booking.

This smacked of something Bruce Prichard once ranted about on his 'Something To Wrestle With' podcast. He complained that Vince McMahon would sometimes palm off details or logic because 'nobody cares about that'. They do - they do care. When fans sit down to watch a show, they want some common threads that tie everything together. It isn't much to ask for.

If anything, Chelsea looked like a bad friend for throwing her hands up and refusing to help Tiffy deal with the heels when she was literally standing mid-ring. Now, we're supposed to buy that her fears of upsetting WWE management suddenly flew out the nearest window. Why? Why is important!
