2. More Stuttering For Blake Monroe

What a bloody terrible start to life on the main roster this has been for Blake Monroe.

WWE hasn’t come through for her at all. Joe Tessitore mentioning that Blake ambushed Giulia on the 26 June SmackDown in London kinda summed it up. That was almost 2 months ago, and Monroe has done pretty much nothing of note since beyond attacking a few others and generally feeling like an afterthought in a packed division. Fellow NXT call ups like Fatal Influence have raced ahead of her.

There was no match here. Blake attacked Giulia before the bell and the referee waved it off. Want to know another problem? Monroe’s attack wasn’t vicious enough to warrant calling off the match, so the whole thing looked rather silly. Giulia was conscious and moving around, and she wasn't in visible distress. If you're going to script violence that forces an official's hand, then the least you can do is make it violent.

Sorry, WWE, but you’re letting Blake down badly here. She isn't offering anything that helps her stand out from others in the mix, and she hasn't wrestled since vignettes started airing for her way back in April. April! That feels like a lifetime ago in wrestling terms, and yet she's still waiting to take her in-ring bow on SmackDown. Serious question, Triple H: When do you suppose the right time is to let her wrestle?!

Laughably, Blake is also being told to say she's coming for the Women's Title. This has been one of the most stuttering starts, and it's still going on.
