2. An ‘Epic’ Showdown In The Cage

WWE

Mercifully, the feud between Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker is finally over. Too bad it didn’t take place at a house show in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Instead, fans had to suffer through a WWE steel cage match full of typical plunder and melodrama, with Bron and Seth starting off sitting in chairs staring at each other as Rollins monologued, asking, “What kind of man are you? We’re gonna find out right now!”

The action was… eh. People got rammed into the cage a bunch, kendo sticks were used, steel chairs were swung, and tables were broken. Breakker had a nice Frankensteiner tossing Rollins onto a pile of steel chairs, and Rollins had a great near-fall when he dodged a spear that sent Bron through a table and followed up with a Pedigree and stomp… for two.

Otherwise, this was a disappointment. We did get color, with Bron getting a cut by his eye, but minimal, accidental blood doesn’t really count here, and it’s not like the match was trending toward good and this tipped the scales. Rollins narrating a couple of parts of the match certainly didn’t help things. Whoever told him this was a good idea needs to make him stop immediately.

The entire Rollins/Vision feud has been a dismal failure. It’s a good thing that it’s done, but that meant we had to suffer through this final chapter.
