2. If The Elite Get An ‘Up’, Then…
...so do BCC!
Last week, The Elite brought their brand of spot-heavy craziness to Rampage. It was a good laugh, but seeing Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta slow thing down a notch with Kip Sabian, The Butcher and The Blade on Friday was a nice display of variety in the trios division.
There's never much selling in these bouts, but seeing Kip joust with Mox and Butcher go head-to-head with Claudio made for unique style clashes that somehow worked out well. Only one team was winning here, sure, and yet the match turned out to be a fun, easy watch.
Tag matches are a proven way to jumpstart any wrestling show. Toss in another few bodies, sprinkle in some Penelope Ford distractions around ringside and BOOM! This one couldn't fail. Throwaway or not, it entertained.
