1. Anyone Really Care At This Point?
This match will eventually happen at some point in the year of our lord 2026. Maybe. Probably.
Blake Monroe slagged Giulia for losing her Triple Threat Money In The Bank qualifier, they brawled, then Nick Aldis showed face to make the match for next week. Yeah, pull the other one Aldis - we’ve been here before. Studies could be done on how woefully bad WWE’s handling of Blake has been since she was called up to the main roster. At this point, it’d be a surprise if this match even happened, which speaks volumes.
Further, what are they even fighting about? Can anyone storyboard it? Giulia has precisely nothing that Monroe could want, so this is the most flimsy excuse for a program going. Worse, when WWE has given the pair a stage to get physical, their brawling has looked weak and too safe for the "hatred" that's explained on commentary. That's going to be a major issue next week inside the ring unless something drastic changes.
So, let's lay it out: Blake and Monroe detest one another so much, and their violence has reached the point of...putting them out there in a straight up singles match with rules? Why? There isn't even anything up for grabs. Blake could be forgiven for looking on jealously at the likes of Sol Ruca, Lash Legend and even Lola Vice for how they've been handled on the main touring crew to date. She's had some struggle, and it doesn't appear like brighter days are on the way.
