Good God.

Irresistible Forces duo Nia Jax and Lash Legend attacked Tiffany Stratton and Chelsea Green to add insult to injury, then Nia grabbed the Women’s Title and posed with it. Oh man, is there any excitement for Green vs. Nia, especially after what just happened moments before? Like, at all? This is not the Women's Title program that Triple H seemingly thinks it's going to be.

In fairness, all of this was a last-minute contingency plan due to Rhea’s injury, but WWE are already messing it up. They’ve completely squashed the heartwarming moment Green lived at SummerSlam by having her lose in a nothing tag match for a singles title shot that wasn't even for her belt, and now she's going to have to 'swim upstream' against Jax as Lash prowls ringside.

On paper, that's exactly the kind of impossible odds Chelsea should be going up against, but Nia has been offering nothing for a while now. Her matches have been sinking back into bad territory, and fans are probably sick and tired of seeing her be slotted back into the title picture without warning. At this rate, poor Green is gonna struggle to get onto Saturday Night's Main Event shows never mind anything else.

Chelsea vs. Nia isn't really PLE worthy, let's be real. Surely, if anything, giving Green someone like Jacy Jayne would've made more sense. At least then WWE could build up a fresh star ahead of Rhea's return to action. There's no timeframe for that, but it would've been logical to push Jacy as a proper threat ahead of someone like Jax. Again.
