5. Tag Team Turmoil = No Idea What We're Doing

You know the drill. NXT 2.0 rolls out two promising tag teams. Has them put on an enjoyable affair for ten or so minutes. Another "rival" tag team then trots out to ringside before ultimately influencing the result or throwing the match out completely. Rinse. Repeat.

What was once one of the major USP's of a show that defiantly refused to be tainted by WWE's usual penchant for not giving a toss about doubles action, has now fully crossed over into the realms of main roster cack. In any other universe, the freakishly athletic and talented Creed Brothers butting heads with The Grizzled Young Veterans would be the stuff of dreams. Instead, last night their contest, whilst gripping for a spell, inevitably devolved into "turmoil" and "chaos" as Jacket Time and Brooks Jensen & Josh Briggs made their presence known at ringside.

It's clear what those in the back are trying to achieve here. But none of the units involve feel like credible number one contenders because the show hasn't got the stones to fully back any of them, leaving us with a merry-go-round of flimsy finishes that make everyone an out and out loser in the end. Imperium must be licking their lips.
