4 Ups And 7 Downs From WWE NXT 2.0 (Dec 21)
6. Harland's Public Apology
Following on from a decent enough debut in-between the ropes on last week's show, the real headlines when it came to Harland's most recent showing on NXT 2.0 were taken up by his devious attack on trainer Brian Kendrick after being escorted from the building.
A full week on from that dramatic turn of events, Joe Gacy was on hand to apologise on behalf of a clearly shook up Harland, looking every bit like a lad who's just spotted the guy who robbed his last Babybel. From here on out it was your typical, "I'm sorry... that you were dumb enough to put your hands on my boy!" schtick as Gacy once again exuded the sort of energy that makes you want to flick off your screen and go finish off some last-minute present wrapping.
Neither one of these characters are giving you a substantial reason to care about whatever it is they're doing or rambling on about currently, with their eventual break-up being the most interesting development available at such an early stage in their development being a rather damning realisation. Here's hoping Harland's unexpected fight with Kendrick next week finally delivers something for us to get our teeth sunk into.
