In the Burning Questions column, we asked whether The Miz and Seth Rollins could live up to the string of solid Intercontinental Championship matches we’ve seen recently.

Well the jury is in, and they didn’t just live up to them: Miz and Rollins put on a clinic. A hot Newark, NJ crowd certainly helped things, but the Architect and A-Lister tore the house down with a fast-paced, back-and-forth match that featured several counters and reversals, plus a Rollins knee injury that drove the last third of the bout.

The finish, with Miz repeatedly going for the Skull-Crushing Finale and Rollins trying to overcome his knee injury.

Rollins emerged victorious, but Miz acquitted himself well. They set the bar pretty high for the rest of the PPV, and they maintained a high level of IC title matches.
