40. A Traditional 5v5 Match...Is On The Pre-Show...And Has Two Commercials In It
The kick-off show left fans feeling majorly deflated when the single traditional 5v5 match announced for the show was seemingly relegated to before the PPV. Yes, it eventually turned out that another 5v5 match aired on the main show, but as fans weren't aware of this at the time, it felt like a betrayal of everything Survivor Series has traditionally been, that the PPV itself wouldn't have a single elimination match. Granted, the pairings for this one weren't exactly great, but none of the wrestlers were announced beforehand, and the match even had not just one but two commercials in it, again denying fans a thrilling, uninterrupted 5v5 match. Yeah, it was pretty forgetful, but at least we got a better one on the actual event.
