There was a lot of commentary on Twitter that Survivor Series didn't really evoke the big-fight feel of a PPV, but felt more like another edition of "Sunday Night Raw", in large part because the crowd were just so dead throughout. Sure, they perked up for that cringe-worthy "USA! USA! USA!" chant at the end of the national anthem, but even their reaction for The Undertaker was fairly mild compared to most other arenas. Is it possible that the WWE deliberately toned down the crowd mics in case they started a "F*** ISIS!" chant? Or is Vince just terrified of the audience giving a wrestler the "wrong" response? Either way, the crowd didn't seem into the show at all, even with all that main event controversy at the end. What a shame.
