5 Reasons Why The Rock Vs Roman Reigns Is A Horrible WWE WrestleMania 37 Idea

5. We Already Know How It Ends

Remember when The Rock returned to face John Cena at WrestleMania XXVIII? And WrestleMania 29?

The same will likely happen with The Rock versus Roman Reigns. Assuming that creative books this bout in the most logical way, there are only two outcomes for this showdown.

1) Roman and The Rock get one, maybe two, rematches, likely at back-to-back WrestleManias or another Big Four PPV.

2) Their match goes on for a solid ten or so minutes before being interrupted by a few heels, forcing Reigns and The Rock to team up. If it was a standard beatdown during the main event, the camera would fade on Rock and Roman standing tall. If it were a mid-card match, Reigns and Rock would pair up in a tag match and, unsurprisingly, make short work of the heels.

There's no way that The Rock can beat Roman and walk away without a rematch, just as there's no way WWE will shell out a load of money to have The Rock put Roman over in a quick match with no rematch or future build.
