6. Why Would You Book This?

That question could be asked regularly on WWE programming, but Drew McIntyre’s handicap match against his WrestleMania opponent Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss is a pretty easy one to raise.

McIntyre faced off against the dopey duo and easily won after Corbin bailed early and refused to tag back in, leaving Moss to eat a Claymore and take the loss. Happy snuck back in and attacked Drew afterwards, then stole his sword, because a stolen mask angle on Raw wasn’t enough, now we need a stolen sword angle for SmackDown!

But seriously, can anyone explain the thinking here of having McIntyre face his Mania opponent in a handicap match, and then still win? Doesn’t that just defeat the purpose of a one-on-one match? Shouldn’t it work in reverse? Or shouldn’t we just stop caring?
