5 Ups & 4 Downs From IMPACT Wrestling (24 June)
1. Back To School
For f*ck sake, end this story arc!
Rachael Ellering pleaded her case this week to remain Jordynne Grace's tag team partner, explaining how the former Knockouts Champion is far and above the likes of Fire N Flava and Tenille Dashwood. According to Grace, that's Ellering's problem. Jordynne doesn't care about Tenille, which is apparently the reason for their recent falling out.
This then resulted in Jazz staging an intervention, noting that she had such faith in them as a pairing that she put them together before they'd wrestled a match together. Jordynne needs time to think over their team now, though, which brought Tenille Dashwood and Kaleb With A K to the ring once she'd left. Rachael insisted she doesn't want to be a team with 'The Influence', leading to her and Jazz getting into it with Tenille and Kaleb.
Your writer had to write all that out because there is literally nothing to analyse. We've seen more or less the exact same situation play out in different scenarios for the past few weeks. All that your writer has to say on this has been stated in previous columns.
All that was new here is that this particular segment was like a scene directly out of a secondary school confrontation. It didn't help that Jazz came out looking like your average next-door mother. Even she couldn't save this piss-poor segment. Just turn heel already, Jordynne. Please.
