4. Dogg Rough
Lumbered with the same issues as the opener, Road Dogg's successful retention of his Intercontinental Title went to waste thanks to the fact he wasn't feuding with the other three men.

There was thus a shred of logic to him at least having his eyes on the prize long enough to actually keep hold of it, but Road Dogg - particularly this iteration - wasn't so much part of his own match as he was trapped in it. Ken Shamrock's sister Ryan had been curtly courted by Val Venis and Goldust (and Billy f*cking Gunn) beforehand, but even her tryst with 'The Bizarre One' and his own sidekick The Blue Meanie fell away under the blunted lead of Russo's pencil.
The storyline actually warranted a four-way finale. It was just a shame it wasn't this one.
