Owen Hart and Jeff Jarrett were great Tag Team Champions in yet another dire time for the doubles division in WWE, but the problematic lack of opposition resulted in pre-show battle royal co-winners Test and D'Lo Brown earning spots on the biggest pay-per-view of the year despite not remotely being able to get along throughout.

It was another typical Russo flex. Almost as if he was a man that struggled with friendships, he seemed to love scripting tag partners to not get along. Pitched as a byproduct of the chaotic times, teams' inability to coexist became the rule rather than the exception, to the point where fans were all too willing to accept D'Lo and Test's failings as a pairing, even if it undermined the excellence of the Jarrett/Hart pairing. Which it did.

There are several points during this WrestleMania that the whole event feels like a supersized edition of Raw. This match might have actually benefited from a commercial break.
