5. A Meaningless Spotfest

WWE

There is a universe where American Made having a blistering six-man tag against New Catch Republic and Ludwig Kaiser would get showered with praise.

However, sticking all six men under masks and masquerading as luchadores in a storyline that has died on the vine in WWE has rendered it meaningless; just action taking place to fill time and sell a handful of fans on tuning in to AAA if they’re completists.

All six men wrestled an action-packed match that played out mostly to polite applause until they strung together a few sequences, leading into the finish that saw El Grande Americano II put Bruto Credo down with a loaded headbutt.

It really is a shame to watch this match and realize that none of it really mattered. On one hand, it was great to see the Creed Brothers finally getting on television and doing what they do best, but there is no confidence that any of this will mean anything on WWE programming, especially once this masked luchador gimmick runs its course in AAA.
