Special guest commentator Susan St James' "uh-oh" would have been a meme had Twitter existed in 1986, but she'd overdosed so heavily on her pretend panic by the time Roddy Piper and Mr T went to war that she had nothing left by the time their boxing match ended in chaos.
"Joe's got the Cowboy" was the best she could muster as one of Vince McMahon's press stunts collapsed in front of him. The idea of boxing icon 'Smokin' Joe Frazier suppressing one of the evil WWE heels should have been something for the press to pick up on, but interest levels weren't half as apparent a year on from Piper and T's legendary first scuffle.
It was probably for the best. Ahead of the contest, the 'Rowdy' one concluded his promo with the line, "never will I shave my hair like an indian and paint myself black". The fewer folk hearing that, the better.
