Whether you are looking forward to the Roman Reigns/Brock Lesnar match you have to admit one thing: They are doing everything in their power to make fans care about the match.

Paul Heyman once again turned in a solid effort promoting the match, saying that Brock owns Roman and would retain the title. However, if he slipped on a banana peel and lost, then fans would never see Lesnar or Heyman on Raw again and would have to watch UFC to see Brock.

It was a masterful effort to paint Brock as an uncaring outsider who happens to be holding the WWE Universal Championship. And then Roman came down as the defender of WWE, delivered five Superman Punches and felled Lesnar.

But only momentarily. Brock recovered and hit an F-5 on Roman, leaving the ring with the title in hand. So if you were on the fence about this match, you might now care about it a little more. But if you’re already dead-set against caring about it, then you probably weren’t swayed.
