Dont take this the wrong way. The main event steel cage match between John Cena and Seth Rollins was tremendous. Both men hit each other with their proverbial haymakers and kept coming back for more. Sure, Rollins security team got involved (as expected), but even their interference didnt detract from a solid match. The problem is, this was a free match on Raw with no stipulations, not the PPV match that had Cenas number one contenders spot on the line. The Tables, Ladders & Chairs match between Cena and Rollins was an overbooked mess that was hampered by constant interference, run-ins and false finishes.Had this cage match taken place Sunday night, TLC would have been a lot more tolerable. Sure, the ending wouldnt quite fit, but the effort and performance were so much better last night.
