Birthplace: Columbus, Ohio Sarasota, Florida was his billed hometown for pretty much his entire career. However, he would spend the majority of the pre-sports part of his life in Ohio, Kentucky and Illinois. The end of his baseball career dovetailed with the beginning of his wrestling career, and that's when Florida came into the picture, and the rest was history. Now that he's finally going into the WWE Hall Of Fame, it's time for Ohio to stand up and "claim" him once again. Don't let Florida have all of the glory, Buckeye State.
