Some Raw debuts youll remember forever. Who could forget Y2J finally showing up after weeks of a cryptic countdown preceding him? How about when Goldberg emerged to Spear The Rock? This year we saw a few new characters introduced to the audience of WWEs flagship show, but none were as forgettable as Charlotte Flairs. The two best WWE womens matches of the year happened in NXT. Both of them involved Charlotte (with opponents Natalya and Sasha Banks), so you would assume that shed be treated as a big deal when she first appeared on Raw. Instead, she was treated like a local jobber when she lost to Nattie within three minutes. It made no sense. For starters, Charlotte is arguably more talented than any female on the main roster. Second of all, she was there to hype the NXT R Evolution, so how did her losing to someone who always loses tempt anyone to tune in for that show? Charlotte may have a long, successful career ahead of her, but its disappointing to see how little thought was put into her first appearance for a mass audience.
