Vince Russo is many things to many people. To some, hes a hero of the Attitude Era. A man that gave Vince McMahon the kick in the pants he needed to drop the cartoon characters and get edgy. To others, hes one of the murderers of WCW, and someone whose Crash TV style wore out its welcome far before he came to TNA. What everyone can agree on now, though, is that he is a liar. Apparently Spike TV wasnt a big fan of Russos work, so they didnt want him working with TNA anymore. Dixie Carter assured them that he wasnt. Apparently he was and everyone found out in a terribly embarrassing moment for the company! Ooops! Turns out Vinnie Ru was trying to email Mike Tenay and Taz with production notes when he accidentally cc'd wrestling journalist Mike Johnson instead. When Johnson questioned this, Russo claimed he didnt work for TNA and was just working him. Instead of manning up, he tried to damage his credibility, and was called out on it. Whats amazing is that after the years of heat Dixie had for keeping him on payroll, and his failure to grow the ratings after multiple chances, she decided to go back to him again. She further hurt the trust between her and the talent, all for a guy who hasnt been successful in the business since 1998.
