We all saw this coming. Most actually wondered what took so long. After being on Spike TV for nine years, TNA Impact was cancelled. Lucky for them, Spike let them stick around for a few months to find a new home. Not even WCW in its dying years was a wrestling company as sad as TNA was in 2014. One talent after the next left, and we essentially had lame duck booking for months. No one got over, nothing seemed to matter. Finally, Dixie did find a new home in Destination America which is seen in 40 million less homes than Spike is. That is not good, no matter how the company may try to spin it. Adding an hour of Mike Tenay hosting an Impact recap every Saturday isnt going to cut it. In 2010, TNA was exciting with the arrivals of Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff, Jeff Hardy and Rob Van Dam. It felt that maybe, just maybe they could someday compete with WWE. There is virtually no chance of that happening now. TNA has no one to blame but themselves. They had great cable clearance with a network that supported them. They completely blew it.
