WWE teaming up with the Susan G. Komen foundation is a noble cause (if not a little self-serving, since they brag about it at every possible opportunity for an entire month) which raises a lot of money for cancer research. But it also caused the worse wrestling moment of the year. Theres a right way to talk about cancer on TV (like Joan Lundens moving speech to a live Raw audience), and a wrong way. That wrong way was morning TV hosts Kathie Lee and Hoda joining Adam Roses Exotic Express for a segment that punished us all for no good reason! WWE had to have known that people were going to hate seeing the two on Raw, as they played Roses music throughout the entire segment. The booing was well deserved. Hoda danced like an idiot, and Kathie Lee hit her over the ass with a wine bottle. That actually happened. Im still trying to process that. Hoda then struck back and broke a bottle of wine over Kathie Lees ass. Now, Ive never had a bottle of wine broken over my ass, but I imagine it would hurt like crazy. Neither of the two women sold it, and instead laughed. Then they went off into the night partying with Rose. The segment killed Roses chance at being a babyface for good, it annoyed millions of people, and it sure as hell didnt make anyone want to donate to charity. It was truly the worst wrestling moment of 2014.
