6 Ups & 4 Downs From The NEW WWE Network
2. Screens, Shot
A petty gripe perhaps, but one which could impact more than just us mugs looking to take nice hi-res shots such as the one above without streaming graphics over top of it.
This could be a bug yet to be fixed of course, but the early flags were raised without response in comparison to seemingly less significant issues - it's safe to assume this has been dropped in by design.
Somewhat understandable from a piracy perspective, this may not be WWE's shrewdest effort in restricting the unsolicited use of their content. The company have been cognisant of Twitter's potential for a number of years now, including the power of moments from Raw or SmackDown going viral amongst the extremely dedicated online fanbase. Before this specific change, screenshots were currency amongst this exact crowd - the unwieldy presence of a play button may shrink the amount of sharing that goes on, even if WWE don't really notice it themselves.
