4. US Title Stuff Is Trash
Lil Yachty showed Trick Williams a “training” video of him running the ropes and drinking. That was pretty much it. Also, the song Yachty recorded for this? Awful. Speaking of which, Baron Corbin is still carrying around that furry United States Title for whatever reason. He popped up to deliver his usual menacing lines and vowed to break Yachty into a million pieces come Sunday Night's Main Event.
The rapper isn't taking any of this seriously, and there's still a weird disconnect between he and Trick. The latter is a bonafide babyface. Confident but valiant, he's tweaked his character to suit positive crowd reactions. Yachty hasn't. He's a whiny little pest who's drinking champagne and acting like Corbin has zero chance of even getting his hands on him in Atlanta. This is heel 101, and it isn't doing much for Williams, Baron or the United States belt.
If you can't tell, yours truly isn't into any of this at all. Someone out there reading will like it, but it isn’t this guy! If Yachty vs. Corbin turns out to be a miracle and 5 minutes of wonderful television come SNME, then this dude will eat some humble pie. Is that really on the cards though? Hell, some will join in by wishing Yachty vs. Baron wasn't on the card itself.
Do yourself a favour. Watch this entire segment on mute so you don't have to hear the woeful track Yachty penned about Corbin. This is what passes for rap in 2026?! The game's cooked, if so.
