1. Then Leaves With The WWE Title

The question must be asked (on repeat): What the heck are we doing here?! Once Pat had finished bashing WrestleMania Sunday and telling people not to bother with it, Cody Rhodes came out to confront him. That eventually led to a brawl involving Randy Orton and Jelly Roll. Orton and Pat stood tall, then McAfee put the WWE Title over his shoulder and left.

Again (here's the repeat): What the actual hell are we even doing here? Why are we around a week out from WrestleMania and Pat McAfee is wearing the top belt?! Also, there’s no real history between Cody and Jelly Roll, so why would Randy think he could use the musician as a lure for Rhodes? Is anyone in creative even paying attention? It's like AI is booking this stuff week by week right enough.

Everyone laughed at those rumours last year, but it'd explain why everything feels so shoddy and erratic. ChatGPT would 100% offer up Pat McAfee as a suggestion for a Cody vs. Randy feud, then you could bash it for that and the app would say: 'No, you're right, and thank you for your honest candour'. Y'know? It's hollow, flimsy storytelling that's playing out like some 11 year old kid let loose on WWE 2K26's Universe Mode.

Don't put it past WWE to stick that title Pat stole on him officially at some point if this madness continues. What was that about WWE becoming WCW-esque? It's a mild shocker that Vince Russo isn't gushing about all of this on his podcast with Coach. It's right up his street.

This better have some satisfying payoff.
