They aren’t using the term yet, but the Bloodline got its informal rebirth Monday night when Roman Reigns and the Usos opened Raw by sitting at a literal table in a pre-recorded segment.
Reigns lamented Jacob Fatu challenging him and disrupting the family. Jimmy said he agreed with Fatu wanting to provide for his family, but it shouldn’t come at the expense of the Tribal Chief, while Jey reverted to the hothead, flatly calling Jacob “dangerous… unpredictable and unhinged.” Jey said there needed to be consequences for Fatu daring to step to Roman.
Those are not the words of a benevolent Bloodline. Reigns might not be putting his cousins down and subjecting them to servitude – yet - but he definitely is leading an ego-driven, privileged family that doesn’t like to be challenged. Anyone thinking this is going to be a babyface stable needs to buckle up.
