6. Re-Acknowledging History
Say what you will about how the Hulk Hogan reintegration into WWE has gone – and there has been plenty of reason to criticize it – there has been at least one aspect that is welcome as a result.
During Raw, we saw an ad for the latest Mission: Impossible movie, with a callback to WrestleMania III and Hogan versus Andre the Giant. (Mission: Impossible, get it?) Just a few weeks ago, that kind of highlight would remain in mothballs and ignored. Here, we got to relive a moment every wrestling fan has seen 100 times, but hasn’t really been celebrated on WWE TV in recent years.
This “up” doesn’t mean we want to see the Hulkster on Raw talking about how good it is to be back in WWE’s good graces, brother. But it certainly felt good to see that little change Monday night.
