6 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (July 30)
5. In The Club
Though the match failed to live up to even low expectations, the insertion of Gallows and Anderson into the Hardy Boyz/Revival conflict has proffered the possibility of the talented twosome being included in the SummerSlam conflict brewing between Matt, Jeff and the 'Top Guys'.
Patient passengers for most of 2017 despite winning the Tag Team titles earlier in the year, the former Bullet Club members were hit hardest by the April arrival of the Hardyz and The Revival on Raw, especially when Sheamus and Cesaro bagged the Hardy battles, and eventually the belts.
However, a tacit babyface turn was recently topped by this week's three-team brawl, headlined by Matt and Jeff hitting Attitude Era-esque highspots to keep the audience enthused and play up to whatever legal variation of the #BROKEN characters the courts will currently allow.
With the Champions tied up elsewhere on the card, a place on the SummerSlam card seems likely for all six men, marking a fitting pay-per-view debut for Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder. Injuries threatened to derail their main roster momentum early on, but an impressive showing on a big stage should hopefully remind company bosses exactly why they ultimately deserve to carry the division on their stout frames.
