If ever there was a wrestler in need of a reset, it’s Cesaro.

The Swiss Superman has been part of a successful tag team for three years, but he came over to Raw in the Superstar Shakeup, splitting the duo up. Before he was tagging, Cesaro had varying degrees of success as a singles wrestler.

So now that he’s back in the singles division, Cesaro needs to re-establish himself. A series with Ricochet reminded fans what he’s capable of, but that was more for the current United States Champion. Last week, Cesaro pounded No Way Jose before their match started.

This week, he demolished Jose in short order (after chasing off the conga line), showing he’s not fooling around. If we’re getting a no-nonsense grappler, then that’s probably the best Cesaro, and it could be fun if he gets a real push out of this.

Time will tell.
