5. Get Champs Over By Beating Them

There were extenuating circumstances, but watching Raw Tag Team Champions The Revival lose two straight falls in their six-man tag match was just frustrating.

Yes, Elias walked out during the bout, leaving Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder outnumbered by the Usos and the Miz. But it doesn’t make it any less mind-numbing. Revival picked up the first fall with a Shatter Machine on Jimmy Uso, but Miz nailed a Skull-Crushing Finale, quickly followed by an Uso splash to win the 2-of-3 falls match.

There are times your champs need to lose matches, but WWE’s proclivity for beating its title-holders in nontitle matches is ridiculous. It’s tough for casual fans to take Revival as a threat when they lose more often than they win, or when they’re serving as punching bags for Roman Reigns in his feud with Shane McMahon.

The 2-on-3 handicap moderates this a bit, but it’s still a problem.
