3. Roman’s Big Plans

So after a week in which he lost in a fatal five-way #1 contender’s match and then defeated Bray Wyatt, Roman Reigns took the week off Monday. Instead, we got to view a video package twice playing most of Roman’s biggest hits.

The video showed Roman beating up nearly every wrestler on the roster, running over everyone while fans cheered excitedly. Then, the video announced that we would find out next week what Reigns’ plans were for SummerSlam in two months. Never mind Great Balls of Fire, we needed to know what the guy who has lost six of his last eight PPV matches is doing at the biggest show of the summer!

By the way, kudos to WWE for trying to make Reigns look like a conquering hero with the video, but when they showed a graphic about Roman announcing his plans for SummerSlam, you could audibly hear the crowd boo, which must have meant that they saw what we saw and reacted.
