If ever an audible needed to be called, it was during the conclusion of the 2015 Royal Rumble. Just look at The Rock's face as he raised Roman's arm. He'd been there before and felt the scathing heat of fan apathy himself around 18 years prior, and there he was in the middle of the ring hearing it for his own flesh and blood. That had to bring up bad memories for Rocky.

Right there and then, The Rock should have encouraged Reigns to spin him around for a quick Spear. Had that happened, the atmosphere might have shifted from one of coldness to one of excitement over where Roman's character was going next. By then, it was glaringly obvious that his happy-go-lucky babyface character post-Shield wasn't cutting it.

Of course, WWE would have had to run a Rock vs. Reigns program following the Rumble and that clashes with what they had planned for 'Mania 31, not to mention being a potential dream match blown at the first available opportunity.
