Believe that! Well, not every catchphrase can be as good as Austin 3:16. While former Shield members Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose have improved on the mic, Roman remains awkward. Really awkward. At TLC, he cut a brief promo after his return, and just kind of embarrassed himself as he stumbled to say he would be the first one to announce their entry into the Royal Rumble. The next night on Raw, the company didnt even let him speak. Coincidence? Probably not. Roman has only been called upon a small number of times to deliver a promo that lasted more than a couple minutes, and none of them have been home runs. None of them have even been doubles. While a top star doesnt always have to have incredible promo abilities (like Sting, Goldberg, or Andre the Giant), it sure cant hurt them in the largely character driven WWE.
