Looking at Divas matches at WWE special events in 2015, the advent of the Divas Revolution is definitely a turning point in terms of match length. Since Charlotte, Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks arrived on the scene in July, the average length of a Divas match at special events has risen from 7 minutes to 12.4. The battle between Charlotte and Paige at Survivor Series was the longest of the year, clocking in at just over 14 minutes. Unless storyline shenanigans get in the way this match will go the average length of the last six months, but if the WWE are serious about this revolution it needs to go longer and then some. Take off the restrictions placed upon the performers and let them go. The intrigue regarding Becky Lynch over the last couple of weeks will also add some drama to the final stretch of the match. Shifting how the audience is conditioned to view the female performers isn't something that will happen overnight, and certain signs show that the direction the company is moving in is the correct one. A big step can be taken at TLC by giving Charlotte and Paige, two performers with wrestling in their blood, the chance to put together some special. (Also, Saraya Knight vs. Ric Flair at the Royal Rumble? Yes please).
