7 Unanswered Questions With WWE's Upcoming Draft

7. Will We See The Return Of Authority Figures?

WWE doing away with authority figures entirely last December (and going so far as to refer to the fans as "the authority") would have been fine and dandy had the McMahons not proceeded to show up on almost every episode of Raw and SmackDown from that point forward.

Specifically, Shane McMahon remained in charge of the blue brand even though general managers were a thing of the past. He ruled SmackDown with an iron fist before finally getting forcefully removed from his position of power by Kevin Owens on SmackDown's grand FOX premiere.

The timing of his on-air dismissal couldn't have been stranger seeing as how we have a draft coming up this Friday.

It's already been brought up on commentary multiple times how the USA Network and FOX executives apparently want the best rosters possible for their respective shows. Does that mean representatives from USA and FOX will appear on stage to make the picks themselves?

Even if not, there's still no explanation how the brands are going to be run week to week without general managers. There really isn't a point in battling for brand supremacy if there aren't any figureheads to make decisions and lead the charge.

As long as the McMahons remain out of the picture, that's all that matters.
